Executive Summary:

The presented report comprises of the information of the
torsion tests which were carried out on front axle of an automobile vehicle.  The reference value of the torsion strength required
by the customer is 19.92 Nm. The main objective of the test was to find out if
there were any discrepancies while the calculations were taken, and further if
the axle was strong enough to bear the torsional force. The readings were
noted, calculated in Microsoft Excel and the plotting of graph was done in
Minitab.

The readings of the trials show us
that not all the trials done on the torsion bar were accurate. The chart shows
that some trials have presence of error in them. By extrapolating the data
found after 10 tests, we can say that there is significant bias. The bias can
be corrected if the calculations are carried with more precision.
